Qintara Health uses text messages to run the practical side of your care — confirming appointments, letting you know when results are ready, and answering questions you send us. This page explains exactly what you are agreeing to, what we will and will not send, and how to stop at any time.
We only text you if you have given us permission. You can give it in any of these ways, and we keep a record of which one you used, the date, and the exact wording you were shown:
We do not put clinical detail in a text message. A phone screen is not a private place, so anything specific about your care lives in your patient portal, behind your login. A text will tell you that results are ready; it will not tell you what they say.
Offers, promotions, and invitations are a different thing from the messages above, and we only send them if you have separately agreed to receive them.
Reply STOP to any message and we stop texting that number. You can reply
START to turn messages back on, or HELP to reach a person. You can also ask
any staff member to switch it off for you, and we will.
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. Message frequency varies with your care — most people receive a few messages a month.
We never sell your mobile number and we never share it with anyone for their own marketing. It is used to contact you about your care and your account, and for nothing else. Our Privacy Policy explains in full how we handle your information, including Protected Health Information under HIPAA.
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
